The OCS-ASF is based on the belief that sport, in all its various forms, provided it is constantly adapting to the needs and expectations of participants and society, benefits people of all ages and represents a crucial element of a healthy lifestyle. The vision of the entire OCS-ASF programme depends on the vision and goals of its members and founders. It is oriented towards enhancing the interest of all citizens in an active and healthy involvement in sport, and particularly in encouraging the 40 % of Slovenian citizens not currently taking part in sports to get involved in the organised sports movement. In elite sport, the OCS seeks fruitful collaboration with the State in issues related to sports legislation regulating the work and life of athletes, sports organisations and all those actively involved in sports programmes.
