Members of the NOC SLO

Members of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations
The Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations (OCS-ASF) is the central non-governmental sports organisation of national sectoral sports associations, sectoral sports associations and other sports associations and organisations in the Republic of Slovenia.

In accordance with the rules of the OCS the members of the OCS-ASF include:

• National sectoral sports associations which are members of the International Federation of Sports and included in the programme of the Olympic Games,
• National sectoral sports associations which are members of the International Federation of Sports and recognised by the International Olympic Committee,
• National sectoral sports associations which are members of the International Federation of Sports and members of the Sport Accord,
• Municipal sports associations,
• Sports associations and societies.

Sports associations and societies are divided into:

• Sports associations and societies predominantly working in the field of “sports for all”,
• Sports associations and societies,
• Cross-border sports associations.

In accordance with accepting and respecting the rules and other acts of the OCS and the rules of the IOC, membership of the OCS is voluntary. The criteria which have to be fulfilled by a sports association wanting to become a member of the OCS are defined in the Rules of the OCS and Rules of Membership.
